BUENOS AIRES

Buenos Aires -- a beautiful, cosmopolitan city where tradition goes hand in hand with the modern world.  Rich in culture just as in nightlife (what more could one want?), Buenos Aires is a true hot spot for the adventurous girl who likes to discover hidden gems tucked away in big cities.  The Argentinian capital is extremely colorful, making it the perfect inspiration for beauty and travel.

CASA ROSADA

There’s no such thing as The White House in Buenos Aires. Well there is... but it’s pink. The “Casa Rosada” is the executive mansion and office of the Argentinian President.  It’s main color is rosy pink, and it is considered one of the most emblematic buildings of the capital. The building also houses a museum and has been declared a National Historic Monument of Argentina.

CREAMY MAUVE + AU NATUREL + RED FANTASY

Creamy Mauve is the backbone of this mix.  Make sure to add Red Fantasy sparingly to avoid overthrowing the sheer pink base.

LA BOCA

La Boca is a very colorful neighborhood in Buenos Aires which retains the strong European influence of its early Italian settlers. It is a popular destination to take in memorable architecture as well as stroll the pedestrian street, “el Caminito” where tango artists perform and tango memorabilia is sold. The rich color blocking is the perfect backdrop for a vibrant orange lip.

TEQUILA SUNRISE + ORANGE SORBET + ORANGE FLARE

The name of the game with this color is orange.  Adjust the amounts of each base color depending on your preferences of brightness and shine.  Orange Flare and Orange Sorbet have high shimmer.  For a brighter pop of color add more Tequila Sunrise.

TANGO

Tango is a partner dance that originated in the 1890s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay, before spreading to the rest of the world.  It is a dance that exudes sensuality in the most beautiful way. In Buenos Aires, the essence of tango is always in the air.  You breathe it as you walk the streets.
